Wallingford secured 12 wins over two days at the Oxford City Regatta.

Their men's novice eight won their first ever event' despite boating some late substitutes.

In the double sculls, Wallingford took the novice double sculls, while brother and sister Carl and Sophie Delaney, British internationals at under 23 and junior level, took the mixed double sculls.

Regular winners Axon and Ed Hares added to their trophy collection with a victory in junior 15 double sculls.

The club's happiest competitor was Axon, who went home with three trophies by also winning the junior 15 single sculls and the novice fours race.

In the single sculls, Wallingford collected a further five wins in the Senior 4, Womens Novice, Junior 15, Veteran and Women's Junior 14 categories.

City of Oxford, who notched up ten wins, including first and second places in the mixed medley event, raced in quad sculls, fours and eights.

They collected a set of four blades for the winners and a pair of sculls for the runners-up.

Hinksey Sculling School won the Victor Ludorum Trophy for the top junior performance.
