Abingdon Ambler Paul Fernandez notched up his third successive victory at the Didcot 5.
The event attracted a field of 250 runners, with Fernandez clocking 26mins 24secs.
It was a close battle though, as Fernandez narrow saw off Headington's Vasily Zverev (V40), who recorded 26.42.
It was a good day for White Horse Harriers, who filled the next three positions.
Paul Jegou was third in 27.03, while Tim Hughes (V50) and Stuart Shilston (V40) were fourth and fifth in 27.54 and 28.15 respectively.
Abingdon's Serge Convers-Reignier also secured a top-ten position, finishing eighth in 29.55.
First lady past the post was Rachel Elliott, from Team Kennet, who recorded 30.14.
Harriers' Ros Knopp clocked 35.336 to finish third in the ladies' race and land the vet 35 category.
Sheila Bailey was first home in the vet 55 ladies' category.
