KEVIN Baker got his hands on the Oxford Singles trophy at the seventh time of asking when he beat Billy Trinder 2-0.
The Oxford & District Aunt Sally finals, played at Cowley Workers Club, saw Trinder set a respectable four in the opening leg, while Baker then clanged off the next five after missing with his first stick.
He set the next leg with four, yet Trinder missed with his first and fourth, to give Baker the title.
Baker then teamed up with Scott Thompson in the Oxford Pairs final against Nigel King and Mark Poulter from the Red Lion Cassington.
At 1-1 in the final leg, Gladiators duo Baker and Thompson set five, however Poulter whipped off the doll needed to give the Red Lion the win after King had clanged off five.

In the Ted Houghton Singles final, it was third time lucky for The Tandem’s Brian Reidy when he beat Kidlington FC’s Henry Johnson.
Reidy knocked all three off in the three-stick shootout, enough to give him the title as Johnson missed with his first stick in reply.
The Jim Whitbread Cup was a drawn-out affair between Cricketers Arms Littleworth and Six Bells C Kidlington.
The Bells went one up in the opening leg via the one-sticker, before Cricketers levelled in the second leg. Six Bells went on claim the title after finishing as runners-up last season.
The White House won the Monty Greenaway Fours when they defeated holders Gladiators A 2-1.
A surprise move in the final leg saw Gladiators win the toss and decide to put the White House in, and they took full advantage by setting a formidable 16, which was enough to give them the title.
Masons Arms B defeated Littlemore Rugby Club 2-0 in the Oxford Fours, while in the Parent & Child final, Ben and Dave Green from The Chequers beat Mark and Ollie Tilling from the Seacourt Bridge, with both pairs competing in the final for the first time.
The Lower Section Pairs was a close high-scoring game between holders Steven Reeves and Mick Moreby from Vikings Sports, and David Lammin and Dave Rudman from Littlemore Rugby Club.
In the deciding leg, the Vikings pair could only muster up a set of three, which Rudman passed on his own to give the rugby club pair the title.
The Stuart & Sons Cup went to The White House, who completed the treble when they beat The George 2-0.
The George set the opening leg with 17, and in response, Roger Goodall hit the first six of the night as The White House passed with two players to spare.
Darren Grant hit the winning doll in the second leg, after The George set 24.
