OXFORD Chargers’ return to the shale has been pushed on after their scheduled meeting at home to Kent Royals this evening was postponed.
In a statement posted online this morning, Oxford Speedway reported: “Unfortunately, the volume of rain forecast locally is greater than what our track can cope with.
“Therefore, tonight's fixture against Kent has been postponed.”

The postponement of the National League encounter means the Chargers are set to be next in action on August 16 when they welcome Workington Comets.
Coincidentally, it is the Comets who the Chargers last faced, winning at the home of the Cumbria side 51-39 on June 24.
Chargers are fourth in the National League, but the team boasts meetings in hand over top three sides Leicester Lion Cubs, Mildenhall Fen Tigers and Belle Vue Colts.
