THE White House remain five points clear at the top of the Premier Section after they beat North Leigh FC 3-0 at home.

The first two legs were won 28-16, 30-21, and in the third, White House set 25. A good response from North Leigh left them needing eight from their last three players, however they only hit six dolls between them. Roger Goodall top scored with 14 dolls (4-5-5) and was well supported by teammates Rob Bradford (5-4-4) and Mick Phipps (5-3-5), who both hit a baker’s dozen.

Gladiators A are still pursuing the leaders after they whitewashed Red Lion A Kidlington. The Glad’s set and won the opening leg 24-19. Lion set the next leg with 24 and in reply Glad’s left anchor man Kevin Baker needing five to win, and this proved to be no problem as he clanged off all six to win the leg with 26. Glad’s completed the rout in the final leg 30-17.

Red Lion B Kidlington are three points behind the leaders after their 3-0 home win against Gladiators B, who prop up the table. He almost pulled it off but fell one short with five, to send the leg to a three-sticker in which Lion won. Lion then went on to win the next two legs 19-12, 21-14.
