Substitutes Danny Evans and Danny Burrows inspired Kidlington Old Boys to a 5-1 victory at Long Crendon in Division 1 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.

Gareth Davies opened the scoring from the penalty spot midway through the first half after Crendon keeper Kenny Eldridge mistimed a challenge.

But after the break, the introduction of Evans and Burrows proved the key as they both notched doubles to secure the victory.

Joey Farnell grabbed Crendon's consolation.

Fritwell and Marston Saints shared the points in a goalless draw.

Oxford University Press Res edged out Horspath Res 3-2 in a thrilling Division 2 encounter.

Mark Nicholls put OUP in front with an incredible 30-yard header, but Horspath levelled on the the stroke of half-time through Simon Hamlet.

However, former Horspath player Paul Gray responded immediately to put OUP into a 2-1 interval lead.

Ian Belcher levelled again for Horspath midway through the second half, before Will Rum found space to drill home the winner in the dying minutes.

Oakley United Res came out on top in a nine-goal thriller with Fritwell Res.

They did it the hard way after Fritwell raced into a 3-0 lead through Ben Miles (2) and James Mitchell.

Tim Gayburn hit back for Oakley just before half-time, and then soon after the interval, Gareth Jackson smashed home a thunderbolt to reduce the arrears even further.

Josh Green converted a penalty to level the scores, then added a second from 30 yards to make it 4-3 after spotting Fritwell keeper Matthew Jones off his line.

Miles completed his hat-trick to make it 4-4, only for Gayburn to have the final say with a late winner.

Adderbury Park Res were pegged back to draw 1-1 with Stonesfield Res.

Dean Horton's penalty put Adderbury in front, but Stonesfield levelled when Luke Jones was adjudged to have handled the ball in the Adderbury goalmouth.

He was given a red card, and Stonesfield levelled from the spot through Pete Andrews.

Chadlington Res got off to a flier as they beat Marston Saints Res 4-2.

Martin Plumridge put Chad- lington in front straight from kick-off, then Shane Peedell doubled the lead.

Paul Norton reduced the arrears just before half-time, but further goals from Peedell and James Cleevely made the game safe.

Marston scored again through Kieran Johnson, but it was not enough.

Yarnton Res ran riot as they eased to a 6-0 win over Kings Sutton Res.

Their goals came from Andrew Wilson (2), Andrew Best, Denell Steele, Jon Webb and keeper Will Bray, who netted a penalty.

North Oxford Res saw off Eynsham Res 4-3.

Keith Coleman put North Oxford in front from the penalty spot, but Jamie Hodges flicked home an effort to make it 1-1.

Coleman netted his second with a quickly-taken free-kick, then Liam Boggs made it 3-1 with a smart finish.

Eynsham dominated after the break, pulling level through Chris Taylor's volley and an Andy Glossop penalty.

But with Eynsham pressing for a winner, North Oxford broke away and Chris Taylor headed home an unlikely winner.
