Wallingford coach Chris Norrington didn't hide his disappointment at their error-strewn display against Amersham.

He said: "The main feeling I have is frustration. We couldn't get first phase ball today.

"If we can't get that, we'll struggle. At least we didn't look like conceding.

"It was frustrating that we couldn't take them on up front.

"They were fighting for their lives and that gave them an extra 20 per cent.

"They played well, but we should be good enough to overcome that.

"We didn't get the bounce of the ball.

"We had three or four good try-scoring opportunities that went begging through silly mistakes."
