Dress To Impress gave Gerard Butler, who trains at Blewbury, near Didcot, a timely boost at Lingfield yesterday as he prepares to unleash Dansant and Silver Pivotal this weekend.
The four-year-old justified odds of 1-2 favouritism with a half-length success under Pat Cosgrave in a five-furlong claimer.
Butler has Dansant and Silver Pivotal entered in the Winter Derby Trial at Lingfield on Saturday.
