Centre back Tom Franklin returns for Abingdon United for Tuesday's British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West trip to Gosport Borough.

The former Oxford United youngster missed Saturday's defeat at Uxbridge as he was serving a ban.

Although they lost 2-0, assistant manager Mark O'Hara was encouraged by their display.

"It sounds strange saying how well we played when we lost," said O'Hara.

"Michael Alexis had to play at centre half and was outstanding. He kept their ex-Chelsea lad Mark Nicholls quiet most of the game."

Abingdon are without Nathan Woodley (suspended) and Jamie Brooks (hamstring).

Didcot Town manager Stuart Peace could give a debut to his 16-year-old son Tom when they travel to Godalming.

The young midfielder is added to the squad after impressing in the reserves.

They will be without Richard Witt (suspended), Josh Mulvany (ankle) and Ashley Vine (hamstring).

Banbury United have an injury doubt over Andy Baird (ankle) for their match at Hemel Hempstead Town.

Matt Murphy (Achilles) and Troy Bryan (hamstring) miss out.
