Abingdon United manager Andy Slater will be able to call on defender Dean Moss and striker Anaclet Odhiambo for tomorrow's FA Trophy second qualifying round against Maidstone.

Moss has been sidelined for a month with a knee ligament injury, while Odhiambo missed last week's draw at Taunton with knee trouble.

But the pair are now ready to face the Ryman League Premier Division side.

Boss Andy Slater, said it was a huge boost to have Moss back.

"It's a big plus for us," said Slater, whose side are unbeaten in their last eight games.

"He has got a lot of experience. He's our type of player - he's a good professional non-league footballer.

"Anaclet is also back and raring to go."

Slater is expecting a tougher tie than against Staines whom they beat 5-2 in a first-qualifying round replay to earn them the team of the round award.

He added: "It's a massive game. They are from the division above again, so we are the underdogs.

"I don't know much about them, but they're a solid mid-table side.

"Winning the team of the round is a great accolade. We got one last year when we beat Bromsgrove.

"It shows how well we can play and what we are capable of.

"They will bring a large following and hopefully we can get a decent crowd.

"The Maidstone game is bigger because we want to prove that the result against Staines was not a one-off.

"We want to put in a performance to show we can compete with teams from a higher level."

Slater said the game was also important from a financial point of view.

"I think you get £3,000 for getting through to the next round. It soon starts to add up."
