THERE was little joy for Oxfordshire-based anglers when the fourth round of the Oxford Summer League was fished by eight teams of six on the Thames at Sandford and Culham.
Brett Cooper (Drennan Bordon) caught 13 bream in his winning net of
50lb 13oz 0drms.
Charlie Somerton (Sensas A Black) was second with 43.7.0, with Mike Marlsdon (Devizes) third on 27.1.0.
Drennan Oxford Blues’ Paul Glenfield came fourth with 26.11.0.
Sensas, who took the team honours on the day, now lead by three points from Drennan Oxford Blue in the league standings.

Thomas Need produced a super haul of carp to win the second round of Littlemore AS’s Aggregate Cup on Pine Lakes at Alders Farm.
Using the method feeder, Need weighed in with 147.15.0. Brian Hutchings was a close second with 134.3.0.
Chris Webb was on a roll but lost the fish in the last hour and ended third with 128.1.0.
Beehive AC fished in the strong winds at Panshill, with most having to fish short to avoid pole breakages.
Martin Wilkinson won with 114lb carp to pole and meat.
Bob Hopgood was runner-up with with 97.0.0 with Kevin Jeacock third on 93.0.0
