EDDIE Pepperell carded one of the lowest rounds of the day to move into the chasing pack at Wentworth.
The Frilford Heath member shot an impressive four-under-par 68 in the BMW PGA Championship.
Pepperell started the day just a shot above the projected cut of one over.
But he impressively carded five birdies in his first 12 holes to climb the leaderboard.
The World No 100 picked up shots at the second, fourth, ninth, 11th and 12th holes to move to five under par.
Bogeys either side of a birdie at the par-three 14th saw him drop back to four under overall.
He then salvaged a par at the last despite finding the water with his second shot.
