BAR BILLIARDS: Berinsfield close gap on leaders Donnington
BERINSFIELD cut Donnington’s lead at the top of the Oxford & District Summer League to three points with a 4-2 victory over the leaders, writes PETE EWINS.
Two wins each from John Boal and Geoff Mace (7,180 & 5,240) sealed the result.
Ian Moquet won twice for Donnington.
West Oxford Democrats Club triumphed 4-2 away to Gladiators Club, thanks to wins from John Patey (2), Terry Green and Eddie Tebby.
l THE funeral of long-serving Oxford League player Dick Stowe will take place at Oxford Crematorium on Wednesday, August 30 at 1pm.
