Oxfordshire Under 13 competition

There was a tremendous finish to the match at North Cotswolds, where Banbury won by three wickets with one ball to spare.

Batting first, the home side rattled up 103-4 from their 20 overs, Robbie Shumer hitting 35 not out.

Banbury replied with an unbeaten 33 from Clarke Berry, then Ian Moore hit the winning boundary on the penultimate delivery.

Kennington kept up their winning ways as they scored 120-4 at Blewbury.

They were led by Chris Knowles (32no) and James Dunnill (31no).

Harry Shortis then returned magnificent figures of 5-5 as Blewbury were shot out for 64.

There was another outstanding bowling spell at Warborough, where James Bywater took 5-12 as visitors Dorchester were dismissed for 70 in reply to 86-7.

Challow's George Vernon captured 4-14 as East & West Hendred were bowled out for 65 after being set 98-3, led by Connor Jones with 32 not out.

In the Gauntlett Goblet eight-a-side competition, a new record was set where Bampton's Jacob Booty hit 34 runs off a single over.

He cracked five sixes and a four in their win over Oxford.

At Hook Norton, a tremendous haul of 6-3 from Tom Dyakowski steered Shipton to victory.
