JASON Turner was the star of the Greene King ODDA Summer finals night with a stunning treble.

The Peachcroft Social Club ace not only won the men’s singles title for the first time, but he also helped his team clinch the pairs and seven-a-side crowns on a remarkable night at Cowley Workers Club.

In the men’s final, Turner defeated Pete Smith (Kidlington Green SC) 2-0 in a top-quality match, sealing it with an 18-dart leg (100-100-100-100-27-74).

Turner was back on the oche when he partnered Stephen Wilkes in the men’s pairs final.

They defeated Peachcroft theirteammates Michael Wilkes and Simon Smith 2-0, despite Smith recording a maximum for the defeated duo.

Turner completed his treble when Peachcroft beat Challow British Legion 4-1 in a repeat of last year’s final.

Turner and Simon Smith put their side 2-0 up with respective wins over Matty Smith and Peter Jones.

The Legion pulled one game back when Kevin Wilkins got the better of Stephen Wilkes but Peachcroft hit back with wins from Steve Fisher and Shane Turner for a convincing 4-1 win.

Michelle Ewins (Florence Park Community Centre A) took centre stage by claiming her third singles title with an impressive win over Katrina Blackman (Corner House).

Blackman gained some consolation when she partnered Denise Pape to a 2-1 win over Natasha Pitts and Sophie Pollard (Kidlington Green SC).

The ladies’ seven-a-side final saw Kidlington Green SC come from behind to win 4-2 against Blackbird Bar.
