FELIPE Massa led the way for Oxfordshire’s Formula 1 teams by crossing seventh in yesterday’s US Grand Prix where Lewis Hamilton kept his title hopes alive with victory.

The Brazilian, who drives for Grove-based Williams, held on to his place in the top ten despite a late puncture in Austin. Teammate Valtteri Bottas could only finish 16th.

Romain Grosjean picked up a point for Banbury-based Haas in tenth, while Esteban Gutierrez failed to finish, pulling in after 16 laps.

Enstone’s Renault team’s upturn in results continued as Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer finished 11th and 13th respectively.
