MARLBOROUGH Club clinched the Section 2 title in Buildbase Oxford & District League with a 3-3 draw at home to Section 1 opponents West Oxford Democrats Club.
John Patey, Billy Hill and Eddie Tebby won Demos’ singles, before Marlborough replied with a victories from Chris Iagoe and both pairs to secure the three points they needed to become champions.
It is all change at the top of Section 1 after previous leaders Masons A went down 4-2 at Oracle.
Mark Trafford (11,800, break 6,890), Pauline Withey (8,780, break 5,780) and Brian Rose (4,770) won for Oracle, while Alan Lowe (4,850) picked up Masons singles win.
Berinsfield Club are now in pole position for the title after thumping Premier side Didcot Con Club 6-0.
With a game in hand, they require four points from their next two games to become champions.
Vikings have one hand on the Premier Section title after a 5-1 victory at Masons B after Alan Oliver (7,650) and Pete Ewins (5,660) set them on their way.
Vikings require two points from their next two matches to take the title.
