HOLTON A stretched their lead in Division 1 of the Oxford & District League to five points with a resounding 8-2 victory over second-placed Forum A.

Elson Costa was man of the match with a maximum.

Karl Bushell hit back for Forum by beating Pawel Jaskolski and Andy Misseldine.

Earlier in the week, James Lovelock was the star as British Rail held Holton to a surprise 5-5 draw.

Lovelock chalked up a notable maximum by beating the Holton trio of Misseldine, Mark Scott and Darren Palmer.

Forum A dropped a point in the 6-4 victory over their B team.

In Division 2, Vikings B lost their 100 per cent record when held to a draw by Forum C, but then bounced back by beating Begbroke 7-3.
