CHRIS Murphy struck twice as Berinsfield eased to a 4-1 victory over local rivals Dorchester to open up an early two-point lead in North Berks League Division 1, writes PHIL ANNETS.

Dan Osbourne and Zach Gallagher also netted, while Josh Nicholls was on target for Dorchester, who suffered their second successive 4-1 defeat.

Kyle Allsworth’s double gave Saxton Rovers a 2-1 win at Wallingford Town, with Ashley Searle replying for the home side.

Crowmarsh Gifford drew 1-1 with Long Wittenham Athletic.

Tim Barton's goal for Wittenham was cancelled out by Jefferson Harriot.

Luke Yeulet and Bertie Procter netted for Watlington Town in their 2-1 home win over Westminster in Division 2.

Taylor Gill hit a brace as Stanford in the Vale beat Marcham 3-2.

Jason Pook also scored for the hosts, with Adam Godwin and Craig Dredge finding the net for Marcham.
