Ollie Hoeblyn in the new singles champion in the Didcot & District League The Oracle player avenged his under-23 defeat at the hands of his team-mate David Noake by overwhelming him 82-17, 60-24, 97-0.
Hoeblyn made a 29-break in the second frame and then really went to town in the third with 33 and 64 to leave his opponent point-less!
Wantage C put on a vintage display to beat Wallingford A 3-0 in the Jim Taylor Cup final at the Abingdon RBL.
The Wantage C side, who were runners-up to Oracle A last year, have been playing together now for seven years - and it showed.
Julian Gorman led the way when he out-potted captain Phil Hall 57-4, making a 20 break on the colours.
Paul Aldridge then made sure he never left his opponent Kevin Gray any openings and ran away with the frame 62-23, although it did take him 47 minutes.
In the third frame, Wantage captain Tim Williamson recovered from being 5-14 to destroy Peter Billingham 76-15.
The frame lasted only 18 minutes. So Wantage C went one better than 2006 when they were lost to Oracle A.
