Didcot Phoenix rider Phil Brown showed that his hard winter training has paid dividends by winning the club's Brightwell ten-mile circuit time trial time.
Brown recorded 22mins 53secs, which put him a clear 13 seconds ahead of Paul Lloyd and a staggering 1min 25 seconds in front of Alan Allcock.

Mick Fountain was the highest placed Didcot rider in the High Wycombe CC Open ten-mile time trial on the Knowle Hill course, near Maidenhead, on Friday.
