Chris Palmer hammered a treble for Ducklington as they kept up the pressure on Witney & District FA Premier Division leaders Hailey with a 7-0 thrashing of basement boys Aston away from home, writes ANTHONY BARLOW.

Gary Brooks netted a double, and Matt Kent and Ben Morris one each.

Hailey are still two points clear after they demolished Charlbury Town 6-1.

Joel King led the way with a treble, with Richard Sutton, Terry Tinson and Darryl Steele also on target. Craig McCallum replied.

Hanborough had to settle for a share of the spoils as they drew 3-3 with Freeland.

Ben Glastonbury (2) and Neil Rose scored for Hanborough, while Jefferson Harriott, Richard Trigg, Tom Mason netted for Freeland.

A Martin Latimer brace earned Millpark a 2-1 success at North Leigh A, for whom Will Smandon was the scorer.

Matt Townsend scored twice for West Witney as they beat Spartan Rangers 5-1.

Richard Farr, Dale Hart and Wayne Forest were their other marksmen. Dave Large found the net for Spartan.

Cassington failed to close the gap on Division 1 leaders Bampton Town, despite a 2-0 victory at Ducklington Res, thanks to Dave Cooper and Carl Osgathorp.

Bampton kept up their title charge with a 3-1 win at FC Mills.

Craig Ferguson, Chris Bowles and Jon Shuker netted for Bampton, Ollie Lyon replying.

Spartan Rangers Res remain top of Division 2 despite only managing a 1-1 draw with fellow promotion hopefuls Kingham AB. Craig Halkett and Dave Lamb netted for Spartan and Kingham respectively.
