MASONS have taken a one point-lead in the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford League Section 1 title race, writes PETE EWINS.
They took full advantage of Didcot Conservative Club dropping two points to Gladiators B, by beating Headington Conservative Club 4-1.
Oxford Ladies got off to a flying start in the Inter Area C Team Shield.
Despite losing the first leg, Oxford recovered to beat Wycombe C 4-1.

Gladiators A 0, Kennington 5; Democrats 4, Vikings 1;Marlborough 3, Berinsfield 2; Didcot CC 3, Gladiators B 2; Masons 4, Headington CC 1.
