Banbury trainer Alex Hales landed his sec - ond across-the-card double in as many days when Midnight Chorister (3-1) and Gilzean (4-1) scored at Stratford and Plumpton respec - tively yesterday.
The Edgcote handler, who had been on the mark with Ultimatum Du Roy and Take Two on Sunday, wasted little time getting back into the winner’s enclosure.
Midnight Chorister triumphed in the hands of Chipping Norton-based Kielan Woods, while Noel Fehily was on board Gilzean.
