CATHERINE Reaney scored a hat-trick as Oxford Ladies recorded their biggest win of the season – a 6-1 rout away to derby rivals Oxford Hawks 2nd in South Clubs League Division 2 on Saturday.
Two goals from Reaney and a strike by Kim Haynes, following a penalty corner, gave Oxford a 3-0 interval lead.
Reaney completed her hat-trick early in the second half, following a spell of Hawks pressure, in which two excellent saves from keeper Miriam Pritchard kept the home side at bay.
Rachel Lammey and Holly Turner, following a mazy run, completed Oxford’s tally, while Hawks netted a consolation goal through Emily Wilkins near the end.
