Fisher’s clubmate, featherweight Tomas Rysakovas, went down to defeat against last season’s under 60k class B champion Tashy Mucha-pondwa from the Bulmershe club in Reading in their class B under 20 bout at under 57kg.

Almost from the off, Muchapondwa caught Rysak-ovas at will, giving him a standing count in the second and third rounds.

Although Rysakovas started to bully a tiring Muchapundwa, it proved too little too late as the Berkshire man had his hand raised.

Berinsfield’s senior girl Georgina White had an impressive debut victory over Bishops Auckland’s Tina Jimminson.

White kept her north-east rival on the back foot for three fantastic rounds, before getting a unanimous points decision.

The home club’s Chloe Gorringe was very unlucky in losing to reigning junior champion Molly Perkins of Stratford on a split decision.

Eamon McDonagh defeated Ted Harrington (Cheshunt BC), while Mattie McDonagh lost to Kane Burns (Mk Victors).

Berinsfield’s Mark Goddard took on Marston’s Lewis Swords in a skill bout, where there was no result.
