6:00am Saturday 28th June 2014

OXFORDSHIRE were edged out by two wickets against Warwickshire in ECB Women’s Under 13 County League Performance Group 2 at Shipton-under-Wychwood.

Oxon were all out for 55 in 22 overs, but a spirited effort with the ball meant Warwickshire limped home at 56-8.

Maud Muir top-scored with nine in the hosts’ innings, which was boosted by 14 extras, Isabelle Wong taking 3-17.

But Olivia Goodwin’s 14 not out proved decisive as the visitors got home in 16.2 overs, despite Georgia Brown claiming 3-9.
