MATT Goode has tipped Chinnor to win the title next season after leaving to join fellow National 2 South club Cambridge.
The powerful centre was player-coach in 2013-14 as Chinnor avoided relegation on the final day.
Goode was offered an assistant coach role, but accepted a more senior post at Cambridge.
“I definitely believe Chinnor will be up there winning the league with the signings they have made,” he said.
“It may seem strange that I am leaving a club that will win the league, but it is just about my career and moving forwards.
“I have left on a good note and if there any openings with coaching at Chinnor in the future, I would consider going back.”
