Eddie Pepperell maintained his improved form by making the cut at the Volvo China Open in Shenzhen.
The Frilford Heath player, from Abingdon, lay joint 34th on two-under-par after a second round 72.
Pepperell eagled the ninth hole and would have been in a tie for 14th place had he not shot a double-bogey six on the 18th.
Frenchman Alexander Levy led by four shots on 14-under-par.
