Didcot karter Elliot Harvey is making a mark in his debut X30 Tour season.
Harvey, 12, leads the junior standings after two races, despite the series nominally being for 13 to 17-year-olds.
The St Birinus School pupil was allowed to enter the tour a year early due to his prior national experience.
This year Harvey changed class to the 125cc water-cooled karts, which have a top speed of 75mph.
He is racing an ArtKart machine with factory support from the Zipkart team based at Silverstone.
Harvey finished third in round one at PFI in Grantham and followed this up with victory in round two at Larkhall, Scotland, setting a lap record for his class.
His next race is round two of the X30 summer series at PFI Grantham on May 4.
