ALCHESTER will finish above Wallingford after securing a 36-5 victory over them in their final match of the season at the Hithercroft.
Captain Dan Kimber opened the scoring after a driving maul, Tom Miles adding a conversation and a penalty.
Wallingford replied with a try from Ben Selwood, but Alchester bagged a second via Souava Rakikiki and had others disallowed for forward passes.
However, Tom Barnes, Tom Iles and Adam White completed the visitors’ try tally, while Miles finished with four conversions.
The second half was marred by yellow cards for Wallingford duo Antony Marris and Ryan MacDonald plus Alchester’s Iles, Matt Flegg and Adam White.
