OXFORD City’s Jade O’Dowda was crowned South of England under 15 girls’ indoor pentathlon champion at Lee Valley Stadium, London.
The 14-year-old, who is coached by former international heptathlete Marcia Marriott, won with a personal best score of 2,918 points.
O’Dowda led after a 9.49secs clocking in the 60m hurdles.
She stayed first after a 1.53m high jump, but dropped to second with a shot put of 6.85m.
A long jump of 4.66m left her 19 points short before sealing victory by almost 100 points with a 2mins 32.75secs 800m.
City’s Tim Stephens was fifth in the under 17 boys’ event with a personal best of 2,793.
