That's all the time we have for today, off now to get #oufc interviews ahead of Boxing Day. Thanks for your input, have a cracking Christmas— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
This is an interesting piece on Ryan Williams putting #oufc before Australia: http://t.co/39Ohj1eJUA Thanks to @mjgelder for spotting it.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
Raynes definitely deserves to be a candidate @OUFC96. Played superbly when called upon, great attitude when not in the side.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC Michael Raynes— @OUFC96 23 December 2013
Good shout @OUFCGoldenBoy - Wilder celebrated five years in charge on Sat and can be v pleased with the #oufc unit he's assembled.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC Man of the season so far has to be Wilder. He's been under a lot of pressure but is silencing his critics at the moment.— @OUFCGoldenBoy 23 December 2013
@OUFCGoldenBoy @OxfordMailOUFC I honestly believe he will lead us to the championship in the end look at his track record— @philbut1971 23 December 2013
@philbut1971 @OxfordMailOUFC Totally agree with that Phil. I think we have a very good chairman.— @OUFCGoldenBoy 23 December 2013
Williams has definitely been a big plus since Potter was injured @FinnOufc - good piece of business from #oufc to get him until May.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC Williams cause he used to never start but now he has proved that he is a 1st team player— @FinnOufc 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC without IL we wouldn't be where we r he backed all the Trans activity in summer and handled wilder situation perfectly— @philbut1971 23 December 2013
Interesting talking point @philbut1971, why do you say that? Who else wants to nominate an #oufc man of the season so far?— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC if we go up and it is if regardless of those who think we've arrived hero of the season will be the owner #bestsincemaxwell— @philbut1971 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC chuffed with the season! Defence look solid and, when they're fit, we have strikers to win us games!— @PaddyKinch 23 December 2013
There was a bit of concern over the pitch, with London Welsh playing on Sat when it was v wet, but our rugby man assures me it didn't cut up— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
Plymouth have been up and down all season. Definitely a good chance for #oufc, backed by a big crowd, to bag up another three points.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC Looking forward to Boxing Day. Plymouth have a physically small midfield + the full backs are not great, Berry is suspended— @CiaranDale 23 December 2013
Should be getting an update from #oufc later today on ticket sales for Boxing Day @RobMac88. It was 8,000 last week and will have nudged...— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
...up since then. One thing is guaranteed - it will be comfortably the biggest home gate of the season for #oufc.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC how manys expexted for boxing day?— @RobMac88 23 December 2013
You're not wrong @DoddsOUFC - there were 455 #oufc fans who'd already done/put off the Christmas shopping to watch their team. Great effort.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
RT @DoddsOUFC: #oufc really have a great record of fans going to away games. Pat on the back to all that travelled yesterday @OxfordMailOUFC— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
Clarke said this was the best back four he'd played with. When was the last time #oufc's defence was this solid? 4 goals conceded in last 11— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
Ryan Clarke well worth a mention. Can't recall him having to make two 1-on-1 saves in a game this season, but stood up when it counted.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
Agree with both those sentiments. York undoubtedly raised their game and #oufc weren't quite at their best, so a point was not too bad.— @OxfordMailOUFC 23 December 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC was a tough game against a decent side. We were better in second half but ball just didnt bounce our way. Rose MOM #oufc— @buboxno1 23 December 2013
Good morning everyone and welcome to our final Oxford United chat before Christmas.
We’ve got the log fire going and even though the festive drinks haven’t started yet there’s plenty to feel merry about with the U’s flying high.
Saturday’s goalless draw may mean Chris Wilder’s men are not top of the table, but sitting in second is still reason to celebrate ahead of a bumper Boxing Day crowd against Plymouth Argyle.
I’m here until 10.30am to look at the main talking points, but as you will know by now it is your input which decides where the discussion goes.
