GOLF: Waterstock drop out of Foursomes League

WATERSTOCK have decided not to enter a team in the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League for next season.
This means an alteration to the format of the league for 2014.
There will still be four sections, but with five teams in each.
At the league’s annual meeting, there were no changes to the rules, while Andy Laird, of Tadmarton Heath, was elected as the new secretary.
The league are looking to arrange team event on the day of their annual presentation dinner at Ellesborough GC on Friday, March 21.
It is proposed the event will be for teams of six players and that it will be a handicap competition.
The cost will be £20 a person for the golf only.
Ellesborough will close the course for the event.
There is a link on the league website under the title presentation dinner to allow each club to confirm if they wish to enter a team.
LEAGUE FORMATION 2014.
Section 1: Burford, Frilford Heath, The Oxfordshire, Ellesborough, Feldon Valley.
Section 2: Tadmarton Heath, Cotswolds Club, Oxford City, Studley Wood, Chiltern Forest.
Section 3: North Oxford, Magnolia Park, Drayton Park, Witney Lakes, Buckingham.
Section 4: Badgemore Park, Rye Hill, Hadden Hill, Shrivenham Park, Bicester.
