LONDON Welsh head coach Justin Burnell has urged his side to be more adaptable as they continue their Greene King IPA Championship promotion push.

Although Welsh made it eight league wins from eight by beating Ealing 28-0 at the Kassam Stadium last week, Burnell felt the game highlighted some areas of weakness ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Moseley.

“I think what we need to improve is our understanding that not all teams play in the same manner,” he said.

“We have faced some teams that have been so worried about our attacking threat that they have stood off us.”

Saturday’s opponents Moseley enter the match in good form and Burnell expects a real challenge.

“They have just had three good wins on the bounce and they are at home,” he said.

“They have got nothing to lose in all fairness. It is a massive opportunity for them to beat the leaders.”

Burnell, however, is backing his side to make it nine from nine.

“It is pretty straight forward from our end, “ he said. “We have to maintain our intensity and work really hard.”
