Jamie Wilkins scored the only goal to maintain Ardington & Lockinge’s perfect start to the season in the North Berks League.

Their 1-0 home win over Faringdon Town moved them five points clear at the top of Division 1.

Dorchester are now second following a 2-1 win at Wallingford Town with Josh Nicholls and Joe Dixon scoring after Mike Fellows had put the home side in front.

Berinsfield went ballistic at home to Lambourn Sports, with both Charles Jamieson and David Murphy hitting hat-tricks in their 11-1 victory. Mark Ingram also scored twice alongside goals from Andie Samson and Jon Welch.

Jake Keller scored the consolation goal for Lambourn who have yet to secure their first point of the season. Saxton Rovers bounced back with a 3-1 home win over Wootton & Dry Sandford with Kyle Allsworth, Wayne Waldron and Jeff Harriott all on the scoresheet.

George Brewerton was the scorer for Wootton. Gareth Fenton smashed in a three-timer to give Harwell International their first win of the season 3-0 at home to Crowmarsh Gifford.

Division 2 leaders Abingdon United Res scraped a 1-0 home victory against East Hendred, courtesy of a Paul Drew penalty.

Coleshill United returned to winning ways with a 4-2 home success over Sutton Courtenay.

Shane Matthews struck twice for the visitors, but goals from Lee Mason, Ian Wilmer, Shane Blake and Lee Andrews won it for the home side.

Dan Oyston and Dave Owens both registered for Faringdon Town Res in their 2-1 home victory against Saxton Rovers Res, for whom Luke Dewar scored.

Harwell International Res were unable to stop Kintbury Rangers Res taking over at the top of Division 3 as they slipped to a 1-0 away defeat.

Drayton Res found Division 4 leaders Turnpike Sports too hot to handle as they crashed 5-0 away.

Mark Davies bagged a brace while Steve James, Nick Brooks and Kirk Willmoth all also scored.

Callum Bowler, with two, and Richard Taylor scored in Long Wittenham Athletic Res’ 3-1 win over Faringdon Town A for whom Adam Bird was on target.

Dan Osbourne and Jack Hastings hit hat-tricks for Berinsfield Res in their 8-0 romp at Warborough United. Goals from Richard Hastings and Nathan Mills sealed it. Ardington & Lockinge Res finally broke their duck with a 3-2 win at East Hendred Res.

James Hicks and Aiden Necchi-Ghiri both netted for the home side, Jason O'Hanlon, Jonny James and Ollie Bailey won the first points of the season for Ardington.

In Division 5, Uffington United made it five wins in five defeating Wallingford Town Res 3-2.

Charles Buchan and James Smith scored for Wallingford, but Ross Garcia, George Heath and Byron Sheppard won the match for Uffington.

Radley Res and Steventon Res drew 4-4.

Tommy Young hit a hat-trick alongside a Brian Kerry effort for Radley whilst Richard Saunders, Liam Barson, Mike Smith and Robert Cox replied.

Grove Rangers Res won 4-2 against Hagbourne United Res, thanks to Dan Cannings (2), Craig Fenemore and Kenny Clements.

Luke Kitchener and Sam McDermott netted in vain.

Stanford in the Vale Res ran out 3-0 at fellow Division 5 side Crowmarsh Gifford Res in the first round of the North Berks League Cup, thanks to goals from Tyrone Mayall (2) and Matt Pilcher.

A Luke Conner effort was enough for the hosts.

Dorchester Res went down to a 4-0 defeat at home to Hungerford Town Swifts who move to second as a result, with Sam Connors, Tom Stockwell, Keenan Dundas and Allan Sprules on target.
