Two goals from Tom Faulkner helped Wootton edge through to the first round of the OFA John Fathers Junior Shield.

FC Mills found better fortune in the cup than in the league so far they season as they beat Milton 2-0 with goals from Ed Smith and Rob DeBanks.
Ashley Overton scored a hat trick for Division 2 side AC Finstock as they beat Division 4 side Corin-thians 7-4. Andy Jackson grabbed two more for the hosts with Andy Claridge and Ryan Johns getting the others.
