Four games into the season and the Witney & District FA Premier Division already seems a lot more open this campaign.

Chipping Norton Town took over at the top, but saw their 100 per cent record end in a goalless draw at Chadlington.

Ducklington, who were top on goals scored, failed to take advantage however, as they went down 1-0 to West Witney with Chris Bowles getting the games’ only goal.

In the middle of the pack, Carterton Town A pulled level with their opponents as they beat Hanborough 2-0 with goals coming from Luke Simmons and Chris MacNeill.

Unlucky Minster Lovell are still without a point as they went down 5-2 to Charlbury.

The hosts scored through Jack Eley (2), Shaun Gilbert and Jayjay Hancock with Ed Dunne and Jimmy Hearne replying.

Hailey Res continued their good form and went top of Division 1  after a 3-0  win over Carterton Pumas.
The hosts seemed lightweight as they were easily brushed aside with goals from Daryl Kew, Harvey Butler and Mo Semlali.
Bourton Rovers also showed their early title credentials as they smashed Hanborough Res 8-0.
Guy Stanton (2), Jack Robb, Sam Mattock, Stefan Ternier, Matt Winter and Josh Catling were on target with Hanborough replying through an own goal. 
Freeland lost 2-1 against Kingham All Blacks.
Chris Greenaway scored for the hosts, but goals from Dan Davies and Gareth Price ensured the visitors took all three points.
North Leigh and Brize Norton had to settle for a point each as they played out a 1-1 draw.
Richard Meredith and Pawel Bronk scored for North Leigh and Brize respectively.
A Josh Grant strike was enough to earn Spartan Rangers all three points in their 1-0 win over Eynsham SSC.
Witney Wanderers continued their resurgence with a 6-0 thrashing of Ducklington Res.
Bernie Crumlish banged in a treble with Matt Hutton, Marcelo Guitherme and Thiago Da Silva getting their other goals.
Kirtlington bounced back from last week’s defeat with a fine 8-3 thrashing of Bampton Town.
Adam Kelly and Ryan Moran-Ross each grabbed a with Andy Gillespie, Tom Wilson, Antony Brooker and Shane Probitts getting the others.
Tom Coppinger (2) and Adam Lee replied.

Middle Barton made it five wins out of five with another fine display.
  They picked up a 6-1 win away at Brize Norton Res with Ashley Scearce getting a hat trick. Charlie Yeoman bagged a brace with Jack Gower completing the rout.
Ducklington A beat Bourton Rovers Res 4-2.

Pat Brown, Lewis Morgan, George Townsend and Stu Cutts all found the net. Jake Oakey and Tony Tombs replied.
John Dunn, Matt Smith, Mark Pratley and Rocky Burton were all on         target for Chipping Norton Res in their 4-1 win over Carterton Town B. Dan Sollis replied for the visitors.
Minster Lovell Res went down 2-1 to Spartan Rangers Res with goals from Ben Hardcastle and Matt Sergin’s goals making the difference.
A strike from Nathan Bowles for Minster was not enough.

Aston Res moved level at the top of Division 4 after an 8-1 mauling of Chadlington Res.
  Matt Gardener bagged a hat-trick for the hosts with the other goals coming from Simon Isherwood, Matt Wood, Tom Dexter, Ben Waldron and Adam Gregor.
Spartan Rangers A came from behind to beat Hollybush Res 6-1 at home.
Ibrahima Sow put the visitors ahead, but efforts from Tom Merchant (2), Damien Perks (2), James Mack and Dexter Lancaster proved too much.
Wootton Res netted their first win of the campaign with a 5-2 win over Milton Res.
Greg Finnemore scored twice with Lawrence Long, James Cook and Paul Biggam getting the others.
Jamie Goodwin, Luke Bolley and Luke James scored in Tower Hill’s 3-1 win against Bampton United Res.
