DIDCOT Town manager Andy Wallbridge is ringing the changes ahead of tonight’s FA Trophy preliminary round replay against Cirencester Town, writes MATTHEW BRUCE.

The Railwaymen were held to a 1-1 draw at home on Saturday and Wallbridge said he is looking to shuffle the pack ahead of the return at the Corinium Stadium.

“We might change it up and do something different, because they got a good look at us on Saturday,” he said.

“Being away from home is a benefit in some ways because there’s less pressure on us and the onus is on them to come and attack us.”

The Railwaymen are in the middle of four consecutive cup games and have to wait until October 26 for their next Calor League Division 1 South & West game, which Wallbridge says is far from ideal.

“To be honest, I would swap all of those cup wins for three points in the league,” he said.

Didcot are without the suspended Joel Meades and Pablo Haysham, while Jamie Heapy (knee) is still absent.

Consistency is the key for North Leigh boss Mark Gee as his side look to extend their winning run to seven game away to Thatcham Town.

Six consecutive victories have propelled the Millers to the top of Calor League Division 1 South & West table and Gee believes his side’s stability has been a major factor.

“We try to keep everyone fresh but we don’t want to make wholesale changes. We’re bringing them in in ones and twos just to freshen things up a bit,” he said.

North Leigh are without Michael Alexis, who will be out for another six to eight weeks with a hamstring injury.

Banbury United manager Edwin Stein believes new signing Dom Lawless will provide his side with the firepower to continue their recent run of form.

Lawless scored twice on his debut in Saturday’s 3-1 win over AFC Totton, extending the Puritans’ winning streak to four games, and Stein feels there’s more to come from the former Bedford Town striker.

“He scored two but he could have had three or four, he’s just a natural goalscorer,” said Stein. Banbury travel to Hungerford Town tonight in the Calor Premier Division.
