BANBURY Bulls won 26-13 at Droitwich after a strong second-half performance.
Bulls trailed 6-5 at the break, despite playing with the wind, but recovered well.
Fly half Alex Fogavini gathered his own kick ahead to feed winger Alex Gandy for Banbury’s opening try, but Droitwich hit back with two penalties from Bobby Scott-Walker.
Fogavini’s penalty and flanker Chris Phillips’s try gave Bulls breathing space.
Two further penalties from Fogavini rewarded Banbury’s pressure, and they sealed the win when centre Carl Daniels touched down try No 3 after Fogavini made the initial break.
Droitwich managed a consolation score when James Schwell forced his way over from a driving maul, Scott-Walker converting.
