North Leigh went goal crazy in Division 1 South & West on the Calor League last night, hitting eight goals without replay at home to Guildford City.
The Millers were 5-0 up by half-time after a brace apiece from Conor McDonagh and Stuart Hole (one a penalty), plus a goal from Elliott Osborne-Ricketts as they called the shots from the opening whistle with some top-class football.
Morgan Williams made it six of the best on the hour, while Jon Else (77) and a Ryan Bernard own goal competed the Surrey side’s misery.
Didcot Town’s disappointing start to the season continued with a 3-0 reverse at fellow strugglers Godalming Town.
Banbury United picked up a point from a 1-1 draw away to Premier Division basement boys Hinckley United.
