BANBURY United are looking to get back winning ways as they travel to bottom of the league Hinckley United tonight in the Premier Division, writes MATTHEW BRUCE.

The Puritans have lost their last three matches, but manager Edwin Stein believes a win this evening can be the start of a good run for his side.

“Once we settle down I think we’ll start to pick up the results we deserve, because we’ve played some tremendous football at times and not got our reward,” said Stein.

“We’ve had numerous changes during the summer and they might take a little while to gel, but once they do our confidence will perk right up and we will win games.

“All the reports I’ve had suggest that Hinckley are a good, organised side who don’t deserve to be where they are at the moment.

“But I don’t care about that, I’m here to win games no matter who the opposition is.”

Didcot Town, who won their first match of the season against Wantage Town in the FA Cup on Friday, face Godalming Town as they seek to improve their form in Division 1 South & West.

Their opponents in the first qualifying round are local rivals North Leigh, who host basement side Guildford City in the league after overcoming Bedfont Sports in the FA Cup on Saturday.
