Charlie Brooks sent out Hopstrings from his Sarsden stables, near Chipping Norton, to win at Bangor yesterday.
Sent off the 6-4 favourite, the five-year-old mare stayed on well under Wayne Hutchinson to beat Swift Escape by five lengths in a maiden hurdle over two and a half miles.
