WILL and Sally Ayres both had two reasons to celebrate after a memorable few days for the siblings at Frilford Heath.

Will was in fine form to take the Challenor Rose Bowl with an impressive 79 points, seven clear of Josh Davies.

The 19-handicapper claimed 38 points on the red course in the morning and followed it up with 41 on the green course.

It was his second win of the week, after taking the Yellow Tee Stableford with 46 points.

Not to be outdone, sister Sally hit a hole-in-one in the Challenor Rose Bowl, finding the cup with an eight-iron at the 129-yard sixth hole on the green course.

It followed up her prize for the best nett score (144) at the club’s ladies championships, held the previous weekend.

Kate Evans scooped the main prize with a gross score of 154, four shots ahead of Kate Hills-Peppler.
