OXFORDSHIRE Under 15s ended their season with a 58-run victory over Worcestershire.

A good batting display after winning the toss saw Oxon reach 169-4.

The innings was built around a 99-run partnership between Emily Ong and Rowan White.

Ong fell for a fine 46, while White hit a classy 56 as Oxon posted a challenging total.

A superb all-round bowling display saw White again the star turn with 3-13 off four overs as Worcestershire were dismissed for 111.

Three days earlier, Oxon fell 32 runs short of what would have been a double over a revitalised Leicestershire.

With captain Lucy Higham making 52 not out and Una Paramjothy an unbeaten 58, the visitors recorded 175-2.

Oxfordshire struggled in reply, with Lucy Thomas, one of five under 13s in the team, top-scoring with 41 from 91 deliveries.

Meanwhile, a side made up of a mixture of under 15 and 13s went down to a 65-run defeat against Warwickshire.

Warwicks were restricted to 131-8 after 40 overs, with Chloe Whinmill taking 2-1.

In reply Oxfordshire struggled, with only Brown making double figures, as they reached 66.

  • OXFORDSHIRE Under 11s played their final match of the season, away to Worcestershire, but had little joy.

Put into bat, Oxon lost early wickets and were deep in trouble at 24-4 off 12 overs. Flo Miller and Nashwa Shah rebuilt the innings with a partnership of 34 off 12 overs, before Miller was joined by Lily Priscott, who helped get 23 runs off the final six overs.

Oxfordshire finished on 82-6 an Worcestershire achieved their target in the 28th over, for loss of two wickets, which fell to Tessa Robson.
