FOUR Hagbourne bowlers will be competing in next week’s National Championships after landing their county title.
John Beardsley, Ron Moore, John Heapy and Paul Ryman captured the Berkshire fours championship on finals day at Reading.
They beat the host club 23-18 to qualify for Worthing, which starts on Monday.
They have also qualified for the Home Counties Competition at Canterbury on September 15.
