TIM Foster took 7-11 as Aston Rowant 2nd dismissed Challow & Childrey for only 89 on their way to a ten-wicket win.

Chris Leaney (3-18) claimed the other wickets to fall as only Ryan Gordon (33) prevented complete humiliation.

Challow’s innings lasted 42.5 overs, but Rowant needed only 13.1 to reach the meagre victory target through the efforts of Ashley Haw (34no) and Ben Mills (27no).

There was another low-scoring affair at Cropredy, for whom James Coleman continued his excellent season by taking 5-6 against Bletchley Town.

The bottom club were rumbled for only 81 and were powerless to stop Mitchell Darville (39no) and Jamie Jennings (30) taking the hosts to a comfortable victory at 83-1.

Cumnor all but assured an immediate Division 1 return by beating third-placed Tiddington to open up a 98-point lead over their opponents.

Tiddington managed 175 from 37.4 overs, thanks mainly to Will Goodman (48) and Ian Pykett (34), John Williams taking 3-13 and Ali Morteza 3-38.

Morteza hit 43 before Jamie Douglas (45no) steered Cumnor to 176-5 in the 39th over.

Babar Raja smashed 121 and Naeem Shazad hit 80 as Wolverton Town amassed 309-5 in only 44 overs, the highest team score in the division this term.

Idrees Butt picked up 4-85, but Manoj Parmar (83) and Adam Mould (38) took Bledlow Village to 190-7.
