Lloyd Belcher bagged 7-44 for Horspath 2nd, who thrashed Shipton-under-Wychwood by eight wickets in Division 3 David Bugge was the main contributor to Shipton’s 151 all out.

Horspath cruised to 155-2 inside 40 overs with Steve Green (73no) and Chris Jones (34no) enjoying an unbroken third wicket partnership.

Michael Simpson (51), Jonathan Pilgrim (42no) and Richard Simpson (40) were all in the runs.

Banbury lost early wickets so settled for a draw on 140-5 from 48 overs.

Cublington’s fourth straight win kept them top and put a dent in Oxford Downs 2nd’s promotion bid.

Downs were shot out for 104, with Kieron Sear taking 3-13 as only Simon Launder (40) put up much resistance. The visitors eased to 107-3 in the 21st over.

This time it was Bledlow Ridge who were blown away by Steve Moss (3-10), Adam Wells (3-10) and James Beesley (3-29).

Chasing only 75, Marston passed the target in 11 overs for the loss only of Beesley (37).

Fred Cripps crashed 103 to set up a declaration by Dinton 2nd at home to Sandford St Martin.

Their total of 230-8 from 51 overs always looked too many, and Sandford were 122 all out, Faisal Ali claiming four wickets.
