Ashley Rump leaves his post as Oxfordshire Cricket Board’s cricket development officer today after two years in the role.

The 28-year-old, who lives in Oxford and plays for Charlbury CC, is moving on to become regional officer for England Golf.

The OCB intend to announce plans for how they cover Rump’s role over the next few days.

OCB chairman Chris Clements, who wished Rump well, said the scope and shape of the role would be determined by the demands of the 2014-17 funding arrangements.
