Faringdon's Tina Fletcher triumphed at this year’s St James’s Place Wealth Management Barbury International Eventing and Show.

Fletcher produced a great display aboard Hello Annie, treating spectators to a display of speed and accuracy in the Verdon Grey Accumulator to take first place.

However, it was not to be a fairytale ending for Fletcher in a second event – Sarcen’s Horse Feed Grand Prix.

A stellar line-up of horses and riders included Fletcher’s Hickstead Derby winner Promised Land who was brought out of retirement for the occasion.

But the pair could finish only third, with Mark Edwards riding Mammas Tinker in first.

Rowan Willis took the honours in final competition, the Verdon Grey Top Score, with his striking grey Wellington Beowulf.
